In the kitchens of the Auberge du Lion d’Or, we find above all lots of good mood. The brigades work, help each other, push yet support each other, with a great complicity, led by the passion and enthusiasm of the Chefs Dupont & Byrne. And these moments of excitement, where the orders resonate, where the pans collide, where the kitchen lives fully, these moments when the pressure rises and where teams swarm, they always go on joyfully and with constant professionalism.


The Chefs

Since 1996, Gilles Dupont & Thomas Byrne have orchestrated the Auberge du Lion d’Or restaurant and the catering service. Renowned starred chefs, linked by an unwavering complicity, cuisine lovers, the duo constantly inspire each other and re-invent themselves.

As their conductor, Ricardo Alves, director of the establishment, with the complicity of the maîtres d’hôtel, Sergio and Morgan, kindly organizes and coordinates the various activities of the Auberge.
